6 Playground Essentials

Whenever we head to the playground, I always bring what I dubbed as the “Park Tote.” This is a small canvas tote bag that I use to carry our playground essentials. I try not to have to many items on me to have to keep watch of or is a nuisance to carry around. I can either wear it on my shoulder if we are going for a walk or throw it in the bottom of the stroller or the back basket of my daughters tricycle. It’s filled with items we almost always use while at the playground and are great to avoid meltdowns or trying to take other children’s toys they brought along to the playground. My daughter is 20 months old and over the past few months, this list has become our must haves at the playground....

6 ESSENTIALS TO TAKE TO THE PLAYGROUND 1. A Ball 2. Bubbles 3. Chalk 4. Snack & Water (or drink of choice) 5. Hand sanitizer, wipes, tissue 6. Swaddle blanket* About the swaddle blanket.... they fold nicely and fit in the bottom of the tote and can be used for a number of things. They come in handy to clean off wet slides and swings or to lay down on a grassy patch for and impromptu picnic or for mommy to just have a seat. I have also used them as a table cloth on park tables if we decide to pick up food to bring to the park.
