How to make OOBLECK

First of all...what the heck is OOBLECK?!?!?!

"Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid. Oobleck is a suspension, or a substance that can mimic the qualities of a solid or a liquid. These materials are also classified as non-Newtonian fluids. A Newtonian fluid has a constant viscosity, such as water or gasoline."

Now that is out of the way... Oobleck is a fun base you can use in any sensory bin for your toddler. The texture is very silky and smooth and as the definition explains, it can be both a solid or liquid, depending on the amount of pressure that is enforced.

All it takes....

2 parts corn starch + 1 part water + optional coloring agent (food coloring, water color, paint)
